FIRE HAZARD – Cigarette butts continue to be thrown out windows and balconies
Management continues to receive multiple complaints of cigarettes being thrown out windows and over balconies.
This practice is a fire hazard and unacceptable. Please ensure you or your visitors, who you are responsible for, dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
We suggest that smokers keep a metal can half filled with sand that can be used to ‘butt out’, control your litter, eliminate disturbances to your neighbours and keep our condo property safe and clean.
Please note, DCC19 rules states: “Nothing shall be thrown out the windows or doors of the building”.
Disobeying the rules of DCC #19 can result in offender’s being held responsible for damages.
